Something strange begins to happen to Grian, and he leaves the Island for information. But of course, his fellow Hermits have to come rescue him. He spends some time recovering and thinks it's all in the past. But after accidentally poisoning Mumbo, Grian discoveres the story isn't quite over yet.

In this AU, the population is split into two halves. Humans and Hybrids. Long ago, a curse was placed upon a lake, far from human touch for centuries. But as humans explored and expanded out, it was discovered. The water appeared pure and clean. The humans were greedy and quickly started to bottle it and sell it into the towns. But they quickly discovered they had done a great wrong. People in the town started to transform into half beast. Dogs, cats, rabbits, snakes, cows, sheep, whatever you could think of. Soon they discovered it wasn't just their average animals. But dragons, fairies, werewolves, saytars, merpeople, and more mythical creatures. Some humans decided to hunt the hybrids down for many different reasons. To sell, to gain something they had, or just to terminate. But now, Hybrids are reemerging after centuries of hiding. The hunters having all disappeared for a long time now. But with their reappearance, it brings old enemies back from the grave as well...

Grian never meant to get involved. What began as a simple attempt to protect his friends Taurtis and Sam spiraled into a nightmare he could no longer control. Lies piled upon lies, secrets bled into desperation, and when the truth finally surfaced, it shattered everything. Taurtis was dead. Sam had lost his sanity. And Yuki wanted blood. Hunted, injured, and running out of places to hide, Grian found himself trapped in a chaos he never created yet was forced to carry. Every step forward only tightened the noose, and when escape became impossible, death felt inevitable. But fate intervened. In the moment he should have died, something went wrong. Reality fractured and Grian was torn from his world, thrown into an unfamiliar land called Hermitcraft. A place of towering builds, strange rules, and people who knew nothing of the horrors he fled. A second chance... or another trap. With his past still clawing at his mind and danger potentially following him through the cracks between worlds, Grian must decide whether Hermitcraft will be his sanctuary or the final stage of his descent.

In a world where all magic is outlawed, finding a magic user is a hard thing to do. Being one is so much harder, with authorities who would hunt you down untill they kill you and no-one you can trust, how could a magic user hope to survive? Hermitcraft is a hidden safe-space, where magic users can hide from the authorities, the outside world, in a family of other magic users, but it's impossible to find without being brought there, so many magic users could never hope for salvation, since they don't know it exists. Hermitcraft Season 5 has ended, and the hermits head through the portal, ready to start a new world, as Hermitcraft Season 6! Except... Something doesn't seem right about this world they have entered.. It almost seems... corrupted? What.. what happened to this place..? -------- Eyo!
