For High School student Gon Freecss, it's a rather normal day, that is until he meets the new student, Killua Zoldyck. Gon is ecstatic, expecting to make a new friend. The catch? He's one of Killua's targets for an assassination mission.

With some help from his older brother Illumi, Killua runs away from home. Away from his over bearing parents and moves to Whale Island to enroll in Chimera University to have a sense of freedom and independence. When he got to the new school he instantly started hearing rumors saying the school is haunted but Killua thought it was utter bullcrap. However, Killua soon finds himself in an unfamiliar part of school, and soon feels a chill down his spine along with an unseen presence. A presence that somehow feels... friendly?
