Hamilton Academy of the Arts. The school Sydney Acosta moved to all the way from Toronto, Ontario in a barely known city. After the divorce between her mother and father, she's stuck by her mother's side, following her to another city in Canada. Her emotions are expressed through the one thing she loves doing: dancing. Lucas Cahill is a quiet, almost outcast in the school. His twin brother, Joseph, better known as Joey, is the best known guy in school. He's considered popular, cooler and better looking than his brother despite the two having the same face. At school, Joey doesn't acknowledge his brother, at home and in the past they are inseparable with the excuses from Joey tolling up over time. His isolation and other emotions are expressed through his art. The two seventeen year olds are connected in their different forms of art in a teenage story filled with drama, sarcasm and loads of creativity. "My drawings are like stick figures compared to anything you draw. You could draw the world's ugliest frog and it will still turn out beautiful. Lucas you're an amazing artist." "So are you." He said quietly, looking up at me with his soft, heartwarming eyes. "How?"I couldn't draw for shit. "Because you are a dancer. Dancing is an art. And you are an amazing dancer." ~complete~ Charlotte is as sweet as a strawberry. She's the kind of person who will drop everything just to help you, just to put a smile on your face. She's as sweet as the sugar that constantly runs through her bloodstream, and as excitable as the rush that comes with it. And then there's Benjamin, who's as sour as a lemon. The last thing on this Godforsaken planet he wants to do is acquaint himself with her. While Charlotte is kind and caring, he's rude and vulgar, while she's friendly and innocent, he's crass and mean. So how in the hell is that going to turn out?

The awkward, intelligent, and bespectacled Emma Leighs never expected to be shot on the very first day of her senior year in high school. Shot by a camera, that is. Emma Leighs has steered clear of every and any type of attention out there for pretty much her entire high school life, taking a liking to the more subtler things such as photography and caffeine-induced night blogging in her grandmother's humble cottage, all while perfectly content with hiding her dark history and secrets from the world around her. But the disturbingly beloved tradition of four attractive teenage boys, a broken camera, a downpour of rain, and a single photograph seems to finally acquire her of some (reluctant) friends. And maybe, just maybe, they'll teach her a thing or two about what she's been missing out on. (WARNING: Psychological and mature subjects are present in this story that could be triggering and/or intense for some, though the bigger lot of it mainly focuses on self discovery, accepting your flaws/mental disorders, and creating new bonds with the people around you as well as allowing them to be your support on the long road of recovery, so this story may be a bit slow paced. Swearing and mild language are also present. Read at your own risk.) Highest ranking: Teen Fiction #3
