Dumbledore never died, neither did Remus, Sirius, Tonks, Fred, Dobby, Hedwig, or Cedric. No one died trying to protect Harry. Because he was with Petunia and Vernon when Voldemort chose to attack. He didn't attack Lily or James because he knew Harry wasn't there. He never imagined that they would send Harry to his muggle family, but later he attacked when Harry was being babysat by a friend of Lily and James' (where he got the scar and became famous). Dumbledore decides to resort the students in Harry's year, and things immediately spiral out of control. Harrys sorted into Slytherin and ends up rooming with Draco, and Hermione gets resorted into Ravenclaw while Ron stays in Gryffindor. But Harry finds out that Blaise Zabini fancies Ron, and he starts to wonder if Malfoy fancies him -but maybe he's just going crazy. Disclaimer:These characters do NOT belong to me!

His plan started to be crushed when Harry Potter showed up at Hogwarts with a venomous magical snake and not looking anything like James Potter. Dumbledore's plan was destroyed when Harry Potter was placed in Slytherin.
