Tenya Iida has navigated through life without many friends. Preschool was full of kids discovering their quirks and deeming his creepy. Elementary was the start of the real bullying, where they begun to mock him for his mannerisms, target his quirk, his appearance, and so on and so forth. He didn't think middle school would be all that different. Private or not, it didn't particularly matter to him. He knew there were going to be unsavory types wherever he went. He didn't expect to make a friend. Not one like this.

Izuku's mom died in a car crash, the same one that gave Izuku his quirk. Izuku's dad is taking him to America to study at their top hero school. What happens when their class meets 1-A? Class 1-A accidentally adds an unknown number when creating a group chat. Out of curiosity and how non-threatening the unknown number is, the class and teachers decide to allow the person to stay. However, after a while a certain hothead starts to notice a few things about the stranger... (I'm changing the plot a small bit so they start out in the dorms already because I want to)
