In this AU, you're assigned to a soulmate at birth. The soulmate system is actually rather nice to the people for once: •Your soulmate is within 3 years of age as you. •Your soulmate lives in the same country as you. At the age of thirteen to seventeen you begin seeing characteristics of your soulmate, normally that's as far as soulmate dream visions go, but if you happen to know your soulmate and develop feelings for them, you meet each other in your dreams. This even applies if you know them online. Say you and an online friend are extremely close and you happen to be soulmates, you'll be able to see them in your dreams. It's not unheard of to have a soulmate of the same gender, rather, it's quite common. Homosexual soulmates make up 46% of all the soulmate in the WORLD. There's a huge downside to this whole thing though. If you don't accept your soulmate within 3 months of seeing them, you and they will die. No matter the reason, if it's their gender, looks, personality, or family, selfishness comes with a price. Though, you do not have to love them, you just have to accept that they're your soulmate. However if you cheat on your soulmate- kissing, having sex with someone else, etc.- YOU and the person you're cheating on your soulmate with will die, rather than your soulmate. Your soulmate will be matched with the person you cheated with's soulmate instead of living a soulmate-less life. Izuku Midoriya, our main character, knows all of this, for in this world you must be educated in this stuff. He starts seeing his soulmates characteristics, but after a few weeks, they change. This is a strange occurence he'd only heard of in movies. This doesn't mean his soulmate is being shuffled around... he has multiple soulmates that are all bound to each other.
