When Percy Jackson and his friends finally defeat Mother Earth and send the giants to literal hell, all Percy wants to do is settle down with his girlfriend Annabeth Chase. So of course, the complete opposite happens. When the Fates (whom Percy decided had something against his happiness) cast yet another evil grandfather into Percy's way, Percy is thrown into a world of witchcraft and wizardry, not to mention deceit and betrayal. Because really, what else can you expect when your grandfather is Voldemort?

Percy Jackson has been on SHIELD's radar since his first "incident," and it seems the older he gets, the more dangerous he is. Now, at 17 years old, SHIELD finally gets the opportunity to get him. First agents are sent to retrieve him, they come back empty handed. Finally, Nicholas Fury gets tired and sends the Avengers, hoping against all hope that they'll garner results. His time at Hogwarts is over, but the fight against Voldemort has just begun. Straight out of a barely complete Physical Therapy, Percy finds himself in the-middle-of-nowhere-snow-land with only a backpack and book, no knowledge of how he got there or how to get out. His test from the fountain of fate has finally begun and he has to solve whatever mystery that shrouds Emerson Earthfire. Facing the most difficult time of his life, Percy has to fight against death and the deadline of the fast approaching war, alone until the appearance of an unlikely face. All Harry Potter knows is that the place he called home is no longer safe; Hogwarts has been compromised. On the run with Ron and Hermione, the only safe place is Number 12 Grimmauld Place. Avoid capture, destroy Horcruxs, stop Voldemort, that is the mission. He doesn't have time to think about their friends at Hogwarts, the Order of the Phoenix, and-because it pains him too much to-Harry definitely doesn't have time to think about Percy Jackson's death.
