Just as Roman's finally begin to settle in and accept things though, strange things begin to happen to their new ghost friends. Deceit is unpopular in highschool, as others find him ugly with his snake-like burn, he is depressed and self harms, he has a crush on one of the most popular kids, Logan, they meet in a class and try to become friends, but Logan's friends, Patton, Roman, Virgil, try to push them further apart. Edit- 06/02/21 this was one of the first things I tried to properly write, it isn't that great but it does show how much I've improved and I find that cool now that I've gotten over most of my embarrassment about it. Roman messes up while using voice-to-text and doesn't contact Logan as he'd hoped. Instead, he contacts a dreary, intriguing stranger-- one who becomes less of a thorn in his side and more of a friend as time goes on. After a while, he can't be described as only a friend at all.
