Set in a dystopian South Korea where a virus has all but wiped out those with the Y Chromosome, only female babies are born. With the male population beginning to die out, strict measures are in place to maintain society and the Human race. The rare few male babies born immune to the virus are taken away and locked up in special facilities, used only for breeding purposes in a scheme called "The Adam and Eve project". Irene is an 'Eve', selected during a screening during the 'Eve' ceremony to bare an Adam's child when she turns 25. Taken to live in seclusion in a facility with the other Eve's, it's now her sole purpose in life to remain fit and healthy for child baring purposes. But when outsider Kristal is introduced to the facility, Irene learns there's more to the Adam and Eve project than meets the eye and that the new system is not only flawed... It's an outright lie.
