When she reforms she is speechless when a human could feel the same way she does. Hurt and betrayed Blue has no one to turn to and no where to go except to a human.

Before setting off to home world with Steven and the Crystal Gems, Steven suggests that the Diamonds take some time to understand his own home: Earth in the hopes they may see the planet in a different light. Blue Diamond takes to the idea as a frivolous exploration and attempts to find out what Pink ever saw in place like Earth, to which she meets a fisherman a few miles away from Beach Cities shores.
