After the war, Harry and Ginny were still broken up. Harry spent months away from Ginny and his friends because he was in a horrible state. and Ginny was broken, when Harry returns to the burrow, it breaks his heart that Ginny ignores him. And Harry becomes depressed while Ron is keeping Harry from being with Ginny because he hurt Ginny.

Ginny and Harry are best friends, and everybody was used to them being close. But when bullies drive Ginny into an eating disorder, Harry helps her through it and they both start realizing their feeling for eachother.
