Vielleicht war es diese Erkenntnis die ihn dazu brachte seine Ehe mit Padmé aufzulösen. Vielleicht war es aber auch etwas anderes. Um sich über seine Gefühle klar zu werden, schottete er sich ab und ging auf Abstand zu ihr. Dass Ahsoka nun mehr Zeit mit seinen Männern der 501. Legion und somit auch mit Captain Rex verbrachte, passte ihm so gar nicht. Sie gehörte zu ihm, auch wenn er versuchte gegen die Gefühle anzukämpfen.
