With the help of her new parents and her best friend, Merrit, Molly begins putting together clues to find out what happened to her family. And what she finds might shock her...

Broken and Silent is the story of Charlotte Daniels, a young woman who's twin died and mother who's left. She lives with an abusive father who spends more time with a bottle of beer than with her. She suffers from a mental disorder called Selective Mutism, a disorder that renders her incapable of speaking. She uses this as a defence mechanism to try and stay safe.
