Light was brought into Daryl's world when he met Rick Grimes, and they enjoyed fourteen wonderful years together before the world decided it was time to suffer again. It started when Rick was shot on duty, and it just got worse from there. Believing his husband was dead, Daryl left their home with their son, and unborn child in his stomach.

Daryl Dixon is a man of choice. He chose not to follow his parents wishes. He chose to move way from them to Atlanta, Georgia. There Daryl found a job at his favorite coffee spot "The Grind", and had way more luck with finding an apartment. He enjoyed his small apartment and simple life until Rick Grimes came into the picture. Rick was an officer, who came into the shop everyday, not trying to sound cheesy, but he fell for Daryl sooner or later. Only making his life more complicated. Daryl couldn't lie... He had a role in this mess.

Rick Grimes and Daryl Dixon are from opposite ends of the track, but that didn't stop the teenagers from falling in love. However, good things never last and they are forced apart. Now 20 years later, they both get called back to their hometown for a funeral and they're faced with each other again. Is it too late or can true love really find a way?
