This story is about 2 teenagers, Nova Delarosa and Roman Villegas. Nova is a 13 year old colored girl who is in love with a boy on the other side of the color lines. Her parents disapprove of this 100% but she doesn't care. She will do anything to see 15 year old Roman as much as she can. Roman's family is completely fine with this swirled relationship. They see it going to places never been before. We also have another problem. Nova is in the 8th grade and Roman is in the 10th which makes seeing each other even harder.
