Eddie Kaspbrak swears he keeps seeing things, hearing things, things he cannot explain without sounding crazy. He believes he is being haunted. Haunted by a ghost that calls himself Richie Tozier. Eddie must be crazy, everyone thinks so... but in a world where all Eddie is is ignored maybe a friend could do him some good. Even if that friend happens to be dead. A story in which a boy falls in love with his ghost. Richie is the new kid people won't shut up about and Eddie is intrigued why ITS A SLOW BURN...A VERY SLOW BURN. Also not a very happy ending just so you know what you're getting yourself into

Eddie Kaspbrak only had one friend, Rachel Tozier. She was the only person to breathe that Eddie's mother, Sonia, could give her blessing to as she knew the girls' parents from years of friendship with them. Somehow, Eddie never noticed the other child who lived with them.

Eddie Kaspbrak still hangs around with his friends that label themselves the 'losers'. A while ago Eddie found out he was taking Placebos and that he only really has Asthma. After his mom realising she had no way to protect him, she turned to abuse as her way of controlling things. Eddie did nothing but push himself away from the losers. Is he too far to be pulled back or does the power of love really work?

When Richie Tozier joins the infamous circus on the outskirts of Derry he is engulfed in a wildfire of emotions: fear, dread, isolation and above all of that... love?
