The way the lights shined down on her skin. She glowed. The way she twirled her lollipop around her glossy lips. It made me crazy. The way she slouched back into the couch while sitting man-spread, her eyes suddenly matched with mine. I looked away realizing I was staring. Shit. I could feel her grin at me. she moved the lollipop from her lips to just hanging barely between her fingers as her arm sat up on her knee. What was going through her head? "Look we've tried and it didn't work, you're too busy to come on tour with me which I completely understand. I'm proud of you with everything that you have done." Tears started to escape from my eyes but I quickly wiped them away hoping that she didn't see. "While I'm on tour, away from you for so so so long. I think we should..."
