"I thought we were friends, Azriel. I was caught off-guard but you have to know it was forgiven the day it happened." The priestess looked back up to him. His body vibrated from the determination that sparkled in her gaze like the moon reflected in the sea. "It was stupid, Azriel. And unfair to both Elain and myself. But everyone does stupid things." The Illyrian took a cautious step toward her, afraid she would bolt. "We are friends, Gwyn. I'm sorry. You're right, I was an idiot." "We both deserve better. But I know you'll be better." She shrugged. His breathing shallowed when she finally pushed away from the door frame and walked to him, stopping just out of his reach. "I miss you, Azriel." A story of Azriel and Gwyn as they begin to build their lives together, even as darkness - from around them and within - threatens to tear them down.Gwyneth

550 pages complete - daily updates coming 7/18 The insinuation didn't make her mad. It didn't comfort her. But it did strike a chord. "My instincts are the only reason I'm alive. They're why those children in Sangravah survived." Azriel descended to the grounds of the river house. "Then perhaps you should listen to them." He set her down gently and the moment she opened her mouth to retort, he cut her off. "I told you I would wait. I meant it." His words rendered her dumbfounded. They were the words of a male devoted. A male who knew her far longer than Azriel had. But she didn't reject them, because her tears over his broken body had been the tears of a female who had lost a part of their soul. A female bound to him. "Shall we?" said Azriel, gesturing up at the river house. And Gwyn nodded, for she knew no words. *cover by lowkeystruggling*

Gwyn and Azriel's journey right after the events of ACOSF. Offered a position within the Inner circle, Gwyn is now assigned her first mission, with the infamous, shadow-singer. This is a story that will be written truly from my heart. Gwyn captured me in a way that is indescribable. Her story is worth telling and I will try to write it with full awareness. If you are a reader, and feel that I am not tackling her mental health in the proper manner, please feel free to send me a message. [COMPLETE] Katherine Williamson Peters wasn't born a beaten coward. When she was a girl she was wild and free and brave. She was Blue Angel, fierce protector of the imaginary innocent and robber of make-believe trains. She climbed trees and disobeyed her father and she cavorted with demons. At least that's what the church folk said-- Gabriel Townsend's momma was a concubine for Satan himself, and her son was the devil's seed. Not that it mattered much to Katherine, back when she was young and reckless. Gabe was just her partner in crime, her best friend in the whole world. She was Blue Angel and he was Devil Dog, slayer of bad guys and wielder of six-shooter finger guns. But life had other plans for Katherine than the rebellion and joy she favored as a girl. She couldn't say exactly how it happened that she lost her courage, but she woke up one day and found herself conquered. Battered and alone, crushed beneath the heel of her husband, her obligations, and the weight of the town's judgment. A brave woman would have fought. She'd have protected herself and brought goodness and strength back to the name of God-- a name her husband's preachings had tarnished. Katherine wasn't brave. She was a coward, and like a coward she turned her back on God and she fled... ...right into the arms of the devil.

When Liliana signed up to become a private flight attendant, she believed she had a general idea of what the job entailed. Strictly professional. What she didn't expect was for the mysterious, strict, straightforward Mr. Cavalier to take an interest in her outspoken yet naïve nature. With a stubborn billionaire refusing to take 'No' for an answer, Liliana finds herself on a ride of a lifetime, filled with heated close encounters, daring conversations, not to mention a dash of drama. Will Liliana be able to withstand Mr. Cavalier's lusty and endless pursuit? Or will the outspoken hostess reject the hot billionaire once and for all? __________________________________ He didn't speak. He never spoke. I knew that he was able to speak, but whenever I was around it seemed that I was the only one speaking. He didn't seem to enjoy my presence, but then again that wouldn't be true given that he requested for me to host, on my day off. His eyes were not friendly, his jaw and lips that never smiled told me to always be on guard. I could always feel his eyes on me, and I know its him, or else my heart wouldn't be acting the way it was. ... And yet, here I am, patting down the wrinkles on my skirt, as his car approached the Jet. I was rather angry. It was my day off. I wasn't even on call. I told Jenna that I wouldn't come in today and that he'd have to find someone else. Apparently this man didn't take "No" for an answer. He had his personal body guard arrive at my door, and I wouldn't be too surprised as to how he got my address. The scary man was ready to drag me from my house, I was driven to his private Aircraft and now I had to play hostess. When he stepped out of the car, his eyes looked up to me. Had he smiled or even acknowledged my presence, maybe I would be free to assume that he was happy to see me.

When she meets his eye, it's like those times when they glance at each other during training, when they're in perfect agreement for an extended, shining moment. Azriel extends his hand, his Siphon gleaming cobalt and his fingers bare even in this cold, the scars an intricate mark of whatever he himself has survived. "Welcome to the mission, Gwyn," he says, and Gwyn wants to savor it, the feeling of his hand wrapped around hers, his long fingers brushing her wrist. The approval she sees in those lovely eyes. She could swear she sees one of his shadows make its way up her arm. &&& While Azriel and Gwyn work to free Koschei's captives, attraction turns into something more.

Follows story line of the ACOTAR series.... picks off right after ACOSF, so of course spoilers are meant to be said in this story. For people who haven't read ACOTAR, read at your own risk, but fair warning you might be just a tad bit confused. ALSO... I will not be trashing any character, expect for assholes like Beron and his sons (expect for Eris). STORY DESCRIPTION: Gwyneth Berdara has spent her last year still not being able to leave that gods-damned library. She wants to leave, but every time she is about to reach the outside world, she freezes and goes back to Sangravah. She tells herself that she is safe, she is in Velaris, but nothing works. She feels as if she's still stuck in the same place from when she entered the library two years ago. One incident makes her leave the Night Court and into another court. How will she react? Azriel was there in Sangravah, but he had arrived too late. Ever since the incident, Azriel has been slipping farther and farther away from his family. He doesn't know why the incident had been eating away at him, it wasn't his first time failing at his job. Azriel finds shocking news that he must keep from Gwyn. The plot line derives somewhat from the initial description. P.S. : I do not own this art, I just made it as my cover! Same thing goes for the characters, Sarah J Maas, wrote these character from scratch. Except for my OC!
