The Human-Covenant war has been in full swing for the last seven years, with entire systems being eradicated all over the Outer Colonies. The human genocide has thus far been thorough, and absolute. After the battle on a remote colony for a Forerunner Relic, the sole human survivor will be put on a path that will change the course of his life, and maybe even the course of the war.

During the Battle of New Mombasa ODST'S were deployed unfortunately the slipspace rupture's EMP scattered them all across the city, after a hard fought firefight one man would lose everything he had in mere hours with the one he cared for the most dead in his arms, he's gone feet first into Hell now may God help him climb his way up to salvation.

Micheal Sulfur has hardships with a newly found warfare to him: physiological warfare...the worst kind. Affecting his civilian life and his career, he has to deal with humanity's first natural instinct: staying alive. All the while, he has to carry out his promise. There's a problem, though...is he capable of following humanities first instinct? (Pre-story to Lintrue).
