There was such an interesting story in the few minutes of screen time they shared, that I envisioned a whole story starting after the movie ended, and I couldn't rest until I wrote it down. I tried to add historical facts and timeline as much as possible, but please remember this is a work of historical fiction so there are times where I change information to fit my story line.

Whilst living a difficult life alone with her abusive father and the memory of her dead mother. Ella Myers bumps into Timothée, an old friend of hers, at a party and he takes her down memory lane. Timothée reminds Ella of happier times, when they were children and when her mother was still alive. She is reminded of how simpler things used to be, and he helps her realize what truly matters. Ella falls hard for him, but she also falls into her fathers habits and bad ways. She can't change who she is, but she can shape who she will become.
