Sequel to Surprising Relationship. Hermione just finished the first school year without her husband and daughter constantly by her side. She misses them dearly and can't wait for their return. She is invited to the Hogwarts Victory Ball and everything is perfect, or so she thinks.

Hermione is tired of Professor Snape picking on her and the rest of the Gryffindor's. She feels that they are being mistreated and on a particular day when she was already angry from the morning she had had. Professor Snape yells at Neville for messing up on yet another potion and takes points from Gryffindor. Harry outraged stands up and gets even more points taken away and even a weeks worth of detention. Hermione opens her mouth and is forced to take Harry's place.

Hermione Granger despises Severus Snape. Then again, who doesn't? There's only one problem though. Hermione actually starts having feelings for him. She fights them at every turn but will it be enough? Severus Snape sees Hermione as one of his best Potions students. Okay, so she's a bit of a know it all. Point is she frustrates him.
