Barbara Gordon and her father, James Gordon, are ready to set off on a Winter vacation when her Dad jumps in front of her saving her from the impact of bullets. Though James is not dead, he is critically wounded. Barbara is placed in a unknown mansion by Batman and Nightwing is instructed to care for her. Barbara's surroundings are strange and unknown to her causing her to explore. The two teens start off at each others throats, but, through it all, soon come to believe there might be something more to their relationship.
