That ex-boyfriend was long dead, a knife plunged into his gut, Patton only being left with a bad shoulder and half-fluency in American Sign Language to deal with his Deaf ear. That was all eighteen years ago. The couple had a son now, and their past was truly in the past. But when their soon-to-be seventeen year old son learns about a certain Remy Cafe- a serial killer that lived in their town eighteen years ago- in school, how long is it until everything else that happened before he was born is revealed to him? And what happens when he meets the ghost that had been on his mind one foggy night on the side of the road? But... no, that wouldn't happen. Ghosts aren't real, and Joe Croft was meant to remain in the shadows about his parent's screwed up life forever. ... This is based on a role play I did in a Sanders Sides fan group. It is also inspired by the show Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts and a podfic called The Selfish Protector by DragonSaphira Reads. Anyway synopsis: Janus wasn't sure where it had all gone wrong. Everything had been going so well. He'd been getting along better with the ligh- 'other' sides, Roman and Virgil had definitely seemed to be getting used to his presence in videos, and they'd even been inviting him to join in on their famILY traditions. Where had it gone wrong? His snake half. Janus had noticed that he'd been adopting more reptilian traits. Shedding? Fine. A few extra scales? Easy to hide... mostly. But it's become more and more prominent and more and more painful and frustrating to deal with. Janus won't ask for help, fearing the others might start to not trust him again and undo everything he'd worked for. How will this go? Logan, Roman, Patton, Virgil, Remus, and Janus belong to Thomas Sanders. I don't know what ships will be in this or if there even will be any, but I'm assuming I'll end up adding either Moceit, Loceit, or Roceit.
