A fourteen year old starts his first year in high school, which is also his first year not being homeschooled by his mother. The only reason he was homeschooled is because of this awful power he has obtained, and his mother at the time couldn't trust him to keep his hands to himself. Later on, she finally decided to let him go to school instead of being homeschooled, and all he has to do to maintain his stay there is to keep on his gloves.
