Kokichi Ouma is a victim of this rare disease called; Hanahaki. Even if the flowers are beautiful, it makes him suffocate. Each passing month, weeks and now even days, his health deteriorates. Once Kokichi laid eyes on a particular detective, he fell hard. It physically hurts him seeing his crush fall for someone else.

This book takes place years after the first SaiOuma fanfic I've written, The Dream. After Kokichi and Shuichi graduated, they both went to live in the D.I.C.E. Headquarters. Eventually, they go to their annual party with their old classmates. However, this time, everything goes wrong. In this story, everyone gets their pregame memories once they graduate. By the way, the "outer world" isn't exactly same as the one explained in the game.
