After breaking over the suffocating grief of losing her closest friend, an attempt to take her own life and a raging eating disorder, April finally returns home after being away in a treatment facility for two months. Her parents are constantly helicoptering her and her every move. Peers at school see her in a new light- not all of them good. Relapse seems like it's always just one skipped meal or one too many pills away. And all she wants to do is fill up the emptiness inside of her, the emptiness that has become her.
