And act as their own parents. When it's Stephan's first day of Washington High. Well his first day of school ever actually. You see he's been home-schooled his whole life in Africa until his parents decide to move to New York. There he goes to a high school and realizes that he's a bit different from the other students. At least he has his amazing math skills. With the help of his new friends, Frances and Georges, he learns about the school and that he might actually survive. Then he meets the Alfred Lee, Chris Smith, and Jason aka 'The Plastics'.
