This world grants those who died an unfair death (getting murdered, for example) a second chance at life. They are reborn as a mythical creature at random, sometimes retaining their memories of their previous life, sometimes forgetting everything. This world is made of every regular human's fantasy: creatures and monsters, large and small of every color and type imaginable. Gorgeous landscapes and areas, including large, bustling cities; tundras and deserts extending as far as the eye can see, dotted occasionally with an oasis; and an expansive and shimmering forests filled with wonders. But, of course, everything peaceful and beautiful comes with something that longs to own it all. With the Madgia creatures on the rise, people are forced to hide in their homes and even evacuate where they live. Guardians are rising up, too, in an attempt to suppress these things, but they're vastly outnumbered. If only there was a way to find their source... . [[WARNING! Elise was a good child. She wasn't spoiled and usually didn't ask for much. She preferred her dark hair short and had gotten glasses the summer before she started middle school. Elise's eyes, when she was younger, had been blue before turning a blue-clouded green. She liked to read and draw, so whenever she got gifts they would either be books or drawing tools. So basically, she was normal for a human. Except for one thing. Elise saw skeleton monsters. She saw the ones from the alternate versions of the popular video game "Undertale." The Alternate Universe, or AU, Sanses. Elise knew all about them. Loved them, even. Gave her something to draw and write about. Until the day she began to see the one with black tear stains, Killer, following her. Watching her. Never saying anything if he knew she saw him, instead just staring at her until she looked away first. Soon enough others joined, like Dust and Error. Elise should have been excited to see her favorites, if it weren't for the fact that she knows very well who they are and what they're capable of. Her parents and therapist don't understand, and just think that she's so obsessed with it that she's started seeing things. "Why don't you go read? You love reading" they tell her all too often.
