Virgil had been in the house for a few years. Of course he had, he had died there, he couldn't leave. What he really didn't like was people in his house. He would do quite a lot to get them out, but one thing he would not do was hurt them. He wasn't a monster. Patton, Logan and Roman were just looking for a nice new house to live in, but they found a new-ish mansion-sized house that came with a friend. Of course, they moved in (COVER ART IS NOT MINE!!!)

In a world like ours but with magic, Roman knew he was gonna be cursed into an enchanted sleep at 15 years old. The thing was, he didn't expect to actually sleep the full 10,000 years. Now he was alone, and he seemed to be the only human left alive. Too bad giant snakes were a thing Janus was trying to have an afternoon nap (key-word trying) but some small, noisy animal kept disrupting him. He expected it to be a cat of some kind, maybe a bird, but definitely not a long-extinct species (work title from 'Wake me up' by Avicii)

Virgil Blake is an unusual young man. Hated by his family for gifts he could not control he finally runs away and finds refuge at a camp. Trying to blend in is hard when you don't belong... it's even harder when you have magic. Thankfully with the help of a few... surprising new friends Virgil finds himself actually happy for once. Happy... now isn't that a miracle.

Virgil spent his life hidden away in the woods with his dragon, knowing that if someone saw him, they would probably kill him, putting an end to the species of Dragon Witches. Metamorphs: a species that share both a human form and an animal form, they speak and understand both English and Anamalis (animal language). Metamorphs were never really accepted by the human race. And if anyone is reported for being a Metamorph, they will be arrested...and burned... some considered them witches, some considered them Aliens, but most believed they don't deserved to live. Roman, prince of the Lionheart kingdom, goes on a 'quest' into the 'man eating forest' dragging along his loyal companion, Logan, once they reach the forest they are met with an obstacle which they, quite literally, cut through once on the other side of supposed obstacle they are met with a very angry guardian.
