*ForeWarning* Depictions of death, loss, distress, and fear Despite the worry of her best friend and co-worker, Gabriella, a lowly waitress, realizes that her past has finally caught on to her. After a past colleague reaches out to her with a compelling message, she becomes distressed when a questionable figure enters the prominent restaurant and leaves blackmail. Having recently suffered a head injury, she can not deny her connection to the blackmail and leaves to rendezvous at the chosen place. Only there does she realize that she has to make a choice, one with deadly consequences. In an unpredictable twist ending, Gabriella decides to take a shot in the dark, carrying the full weight of her past once and for all. Author's Note: There are not many stories that I have truly enjoyed planning and writing like this one. When I thought of starting with an innocent beginning with a waitress working at a high-class restaurant, a twist ending was inevitable. The story played out before my eyes just how I had intended, and I could not be happier with the results. Writing does not always come as easily for me as other writers I know, but only having completed this story in two months and seeing the results has encouraged me to keep working and practicing toward my goals.

{NonFiction} {YA} That night, my family and I were on our way to Missouri to visit our grandparents. However, something frightening happened that chilled me to the bone and hasn't let me forget. It was completely unexpected and left me quivering and shaking. I got no sleep that night... Now, I write this years after it had occurred, but I still remember it as though it was yesterday. The ending could have been so different. Nonetheless, we always had someone looking after us. Go on if you dare read this hair-raising story! This was the hardest story for me to ever write just because it brought back lots of memories......some not very pleasant. I literally was shaking with adrenaline and filled with the same emotions from when this story took place years ago. I'm just happy to finally write it down on paper. In all honesty, this was my first nonfiction story that I have completed, so I hope you enjoy it!! I might add more details and editing soon, but otherwise, this only has 2 short parts.

{SHORT STORY} Esther has been alone for the majority of her life. Depending on no one but herself to get through life one agonizing day at a time. Plagued with "FINAL NOTICE" papers and buried under piles of debt, she searches for every little moment of peace that she can find. Days stretch on in a never-ending, always repeating cycle of work, work, work. Until one day she comes across a man. One conversation with this stranger turns her life upside down forever. And what he left behind for her is the most astonishing part that would start a chain of unforeseen events. This is a short story that just came to me one day by reading a different story authored by a close friend of mine. I was even able to present this as a piece for a Fine Arts Scholarship this weekend which was amazing. This took a long time to piece together and perfect, so I do hope that you will enjoy it. Let me know what you think by adding comments and helpful criticism.
