These teams have no happy ending because it is fated that the two shinobi will fall in love with the only kunoichi. Obviously, she can only choose one. A negative outcome will befall upon the chosen one. Yet, why do they continue this? There is an unknown prophecy which has been going on for decades, hundreds of years even. The exact words of this prophecy-- "curse" they like to call it, nobody knows except for the elders and the Hokage himself. The details are strictly confidential, but there are people from other nations who knows of this "curse". Those with ill intentions will take advantage of this for their sick plans. Every curse, there must be a way to break it. It is said that a certain trio will be born, holding the key together as one to free the future prodigies of Konohagakure. The moment this trio exist in the world, fate will make its way to prepare them for the worse, to play its part to prepare games for them to play. It's not just any game.
