[Completed] The Royal Guard of the Empire has faithfully served Byzantia for nearly three centuries now. Hand picked from foreign lands, these guardsmen hold no political ties, carry no agendas, and bare no creeds except to those who sit upon the Onyx Throne. They are vanguards, protectors, loyalists. They are Vangen. Change has come to the Empire. An Empress sits upon the throne now, destroying any who would rebel against her with both fire and iron. To the east, her loyal Vangen work to quash the newest rebellion, until a letter arrives one day, marked with the Empresses seal. The contents within bare only dread and disturbance for the Guardsmen. The Black Ministry, the former Emperor's cabal of Sorcerers, have turned against the Empress. The Vangen's return is bittersweet. The city they once called home is now a battlefield, every street a choke-point. Every home a possible nesting ground for rebels. The Royal Guard will have to fight tooth and nail to put down the Ministry and protect the Empress, but the deeper they go, the harder the lines begin to blur. In a world where good and evil does not exist, where then does a man's loyalty lie? (Comments and Feedback are always appreciated)

Volume One of The Fury Triad England, 1811. As fashionable Society streams toward London for the start of a new social season, they are unaware of a hidden magical England existing alongside. The Magi cathedrals are temples to the old gods. Reigning on their throne is not poor mad George, but the ailing King Pellinore of the House of Pendragon. But their wars are no less deadly. The Furys are known for their extraordinary music, their powerful magic, and their historic role as kingmakers. But the Furys have their secrets as well, none so dangerous as the daughter whose Shadow magic spills from her, unchecked. Unless her powers are concealed, she's not only ruined in Society, but marked as a target for those who would use and abuse her magic. Persephone Fury is the Dark daughter, the one they hide. But desperate times call for desperate measures, and a good marriage for this frightening daughter is desperately needed. On the night of her debut, her world comes crumbling down around her when she is abducted from the man she loves by the man she most loathes. Evil powers circle, calling her to the destiny foretold at the moment of her birth, drawing her to the source of her power, to the one place she can finally be free. By embracing the Shadows. Persephone is ruthless, devious, and clever, but when confronted with the truth, she must make horrifying choices. Can she defy destiny and seize her own fate? COVER BY DAZZIESH When the Delphi Foundation calls Emerson Cole to interview a pair of twins, he doesn't expect them to be the apparently-not-quite-so-dead scions of the deceased Waymark family. He definitely doesn't expect them to be stuck in the same body. As enigmatic as they are charismatic, Cole knows he shouldn't get himself dragged into the Waymark family's business. He's seen it before--mages--young, powerful, and cocky with a bone to pick with the universe wrecking things for everyone else. But magic is being stolen from the world and the twins seem to be the only ones who might know what's going on. The Wrath is getting stronger, the Malibu Incident looms over all their heads and an ancient artifact wielded by a prophecized hero is the only hope they have between them and oblivion. Cole isn't a hero and he certainly isn't trying to be, but he is a dragon and his currency is knowledge. He'll help. He just needs a cigarette or three first.
