The sign went up one day like a stone tablet from God, prophesying the end of their small community. "Walmart Coming Soon" Neo was the first to notice it. He took a double take as he passed it, immediately turned around, and ran the damn thing over. He knew it wouldn't do any good, knew it wouldn't accomplish much other than a few dents in his car-but he didn't care. At the very least, it was a response. A warning.
