Prologue: 16 year old Snow isn't your ordinary teenager. For a start she doesn't go to school, have friends or even a real family, she's alone. But Snow doesn't mind, she doesn't feel the need for love or affection from others for she doesn't know what love is like or how it feels. That's what its like being an orphan, though she isn't any orphan. She's an orphan with a past, a past she doesn't know about. Her adoptive family are okay even though she doesn't think of them as family, more as people who have an odd interest in her but they let her do as she pleases, they keep their distance from her as well watch over her. Life for Snow is fine, a little dull but at least she's alive. Well all of that changes when Snow is betrayed, harmed and running from many dangers with a boy she doesn't know nor like. Did I forget to mention? Snow isn't human. Who else isn't?
