It's been seven months, seven months of no human contact, scavenging resources from nearby towns that are slowly crumbling to dust. The United Rebel Front led a planetary scale rebellion among many countries and were against the UN itself. That lead to a planetary war called the 'Insurrection War'. A biological weapon was created and was used on the front lines to turn soldiers into monsters, but they couldn't keep control of the monsters....and that led to a zombie outbreak. Now I live alone in the Forest away from the zombies and other humans. I've been turning insane or is it that's what I'm thinking that I am turning insane but anyways, I am alone...that's what I thought anyways. (Idea & Inspiration of this zombie apocalyptic story goes to @CrystalScherer) -The Virus Within [Similar Hierachy] (And the idea came partly from resident Evil) {Ranked #13 for 'Main' at 10th of July 2018}

The War of the Worlds is a science fiction novel by English author H. G. Wells first serialised in 1897 in the UK by Pearson's Magazine and in the US by Cosmopolitan magazine. The novel's first appearance in hardcover was in 1898 from publisher William Heinemann of London. Written between 1895 and 1897, it is one of the earliest stories that detail a conflict between mankind and an extraterrestrial race. The novel is the first-person narrative of both an unnamed protagonist in Surrey and of his younger brother in London as southern England is invaded by Martians. The novel is one of the most commented-on works in the science fiction canon.

They say the world used to turn. They say that night would follow day in an endless dance. They say that dawn rose, dusk fell, and we worshiped both sun and stars. That was a long time ago. The dance has died. The world has fallen still. We float through the heavens, one half always in light, one half always in shadow. Like the moth of our forests, one wing white and the other black, we are torn. My people are the fortunate. We live in daylight, blessed in the warmth of the sun. Yet across the line, the others lurk in eternal night, afraid... and alone in the dark. I was born in the light. I was sent into darkness. This is my story.

Set in the 1800's, colonial America, this is the story of Mercy Peters, an African American slave woman who gets sold throughout the south and ends up meeting a white man---that ends up changing her life. This story will be more raw than my other stories because I feel so strongly about slavery , and the life of a woman during that time. Enjoy. Might me inappropriate for younger viewers. Guys, I hope the way the story is written does not offend anybody. I only based the way she speaks on excerpts I read in my AP U.S history class. It gets better later on in the story. Again, I have no rude intentions in this story. I am a black person myself and although I am not African-American, I can relate.

The Test was designed to decide where the citizens of the Great City live: the luxurious Innercity, the agricultural Middlecity, or the polluted Outercity. Growing up in the Innercity, Cassandra has always pictured herself at the top. The top of her class, the top of her peers, and soon, the top of the Innercity. It also helps that her mother is the Test Administrator. But to secure the life she has always wanted, she must pass, no, dominate the Test. When the Test doesn't go as planned, Cassandra must choose between her friendships, battle invisible forces, and survive the life the Test had given her. Because the Test can't be wrong. Right? Raven Smudge is a foundling. She knows nothing about her past. Who her parents are, when she was born, where she was born or what her real name is. She is stuck inside an empty person, frantically searching for a sense of identity. Yet, her life isn't all that bad. She may not have a family, but she has great friends. Hetty, Polly, Harriet, Mary along with some newfound friends (of a different gender) show her that some friends can be as close as a family. Together, their group learn to survive the hospital regime and they work to undermine the cruel Matron of the Foundling Hospital. The idea for Raven's second name came from @Lottie4647 and this is purely because her story greatly inspired me to write this fanfic. Based off the CBBC adaptation of Jacqueline Wilson's wonderful novel Hetty Feather. All characters belong to Jacqueline Wilson or CBBC. I own only Raven and her plotline.
