While RyeClan and ShallowClan are both strong clans in their own right, their bitter rivalry runs acrid through the river and has torn apart generations. As adversity approaches from all sides, the two clans must struggle through, whether apart or together, and decide their fate.

We are such fickle lifeforms, but yet we matter is much❞ The Empires are a society based off of Warriors, a society of anthropomorphized cats. They're significantly more anthropomorphic than the cats in Warriors though, in several ways, but perhaps more biologically/behaviorally realistic. This book is a worldbuilding book, where I basically explain the Empire as a whole. However the majority of it is written format, so it's similar to a regular fanfic. Okay, boring description over.

The Clans should have always been kept separate. Three Clans, one in the mixed forest, one in the beech forest, and one by the river. RimuClan, BeechClan, and RushClan. To the surprise of everyone, Spiderstar and Keastar announce to their Clans that RimuClan and BeechClan will be uniting to form one large Clan - ForestClan. They will no longer compete for prey, they will no longer fight. Instead, they will rule the forest together. Greeneyes, the loyal BeechClan deputy, is given the task of helping bring these Clans together. She vows to rise up to the challenge and show her leadership skills, but fixing the divide between the two very different Clans is harder than she imagined, especially when she discovers what is truly at stake. Fogface, a traumatized RushClan warrior, feels as threatened as the rest of her Clan when they are left out of this new agreement. She and her mate decide they have to do something about this agreement, and establish a rebellion for all those unhappy. And as ulterior motives are revealed, the stakes get higher. The fate of the Clans is threatened, and the two mollies lives become more important than they'd ever planned.

Yet, Nightpaw doubts the truth in the truth-teller's stories and finds them even harder to reconcile when he is visited by someone he'd been taught no longer exists. Caught between fear and curiosity, the truth-teller's apprentice finds himself stuck between two versions of the Clan's history - two truths where there should only be one. Sage is a delicate plant, one that can be crushed simply with a strong, hefty paw. And in SageClan, this paw belongs to Cougarstar, the leader who seems to have no heart. he is strict and sharp with his warriors and only seems to be remotely kind to his mate and his heir, Bearpatch, who seems not too bothered by his father's issues. Plenty of rules have been set in place to be sure that SageClan flourishes for as long as it can, and despite the fact that Cougarstar has not made the majority of these rules, they have certainly been bent for some cats of the Clan. of course, with Cougarstar's permission, for if anything were to slip by the leader, the cat would be in grave trouble. Sealshadow has always been different from her clanmates. She's quiet, and is terrible with social interaction.
