The Reaper war has been won. almost 3 years have gone by since the battle of Earth and the galaxy has faced years of peace and cooperation among the many species of council space under the new Galactic Systems Alliance. However, through out history, peace has never been known to last long. After disappearing for 3 years, the shadow human terrorist organization known as Cerberus has returned after miraculously recooperating their lost forces even after the loss of their Leader, the Illusive Man, to sabotage the new Terminus-Alliance Unification treaty. The hero of Earth, Commander John Shepard has been pulled back into duty of service to the Alliance to combat the new threats brewing in the Terminus Systems as a full out galactic war starts brewing. But there is more to this war than any faction could possibly realize... until it's too late (Mass Effect: Galaxy at war is a fanfic following the Destroy ending of Mass Effect 3 based on the decisions of my own personalized Commander Shepard) (All rights to the Mass Effect game series belong to Bioware and EA. This story takes place before the great war of the geth and quarians on Rannoch. Whereas the quarians could rome without enviro-suits or helmets. All fans of the gaming franchise, Mass Effect, know well the loyal and trustworthy (except kinda near the end of Mass Effect 3's take back Rannoch scenario) geth companion, Legion. For he is the main Protagonist of this fan-fiction. For those who have not heard of the series, there is some insight I put up on my profile if you are interested in what actually going on here in the setting. Formerly Dubbed "Mass Effect 3 Ending Filler (Garrus Romance)" The Reapers have been destroyed, the catalyst has been activated, the Earth has been saved, but where is Shepard? This story takes place after the Normandy had avoided the Mass Relay explosions of Shepard's choice of Destruction ending. But furthermore, Garrus and Tali were with Shepard on earth before she went into the beam the Reapers were guarding. They were picked by the Normandy and tended to. Tali first though (considering she's a quarian and all, bad immune system and such). When Garrus gets on bored, he pleas Joker to stay for Shepard. But He didn't listen.
