Between the 12th July 1963 - 6th October 1965 3 children and 1 teenager were reported missing by their parents; Keith Bennett, Pauline Reade, Lesley-Anne Downey and John Kilbride had all been abducted and horrifically murdered by an unassuming couple - Ian brady and Myra Hindley. By abducting those children they struck fear into the hearts of every parent in post war Manchester; that was, until, they made the fateful mistake of trying to initiate a young, 17 year old, David 'Dave' smith, Myra's brother-in-law, into their depraved and perverse world, brought it crashing down upon them when he was made to witness the last, and 'messiest yet', of all the murders, that of 17 year old Edward Evans .
