Lila is a reporter living in the bustling city of Los Angeles, California. Fresh out of college, she is looking for her big break to start rising to the top. The busier she is, the less she has to think about the life she left behind. One day, her best friend gets her the interview of her dreams. She jumps at the opportunity and as she gets ready for it, something happens that changes the course of her life forever. But will this be a good path, or a bad one? The thing she must protect the most is her heart, but it's the one thing that wants to set her free. Only time will tell if Lila can truly find the happiness she longs for.
