They called them Guardians. Unfortunately, these powerful beings had mysteriously disappeared five hundred years ago. Now, five hundred years early, the Dark One has awoken once more, intent on destroying the world and spreading the wicked illness of death. The Overworld burns, disease rots and withers away its surface. Its people are slaughtered, stolen away by the hands of death and fear. A young sorcerer witnesses it all. Once precious home and family are withered away, this young sorcerer sets out to find these old legends and bring back the world's peace once more.
