You slow the horse, meeting Frodo, Sam, Merry and Pippin. Laughing, you jump off the horse, letting it wander to a field of grass. Looking back, you see Gimli on the back of your brother, sprinting past the fallen Hobbits, shouting apologies. They stop in front of you, giving you a stern look, but breaking into laughter instead. They pause, and Legolas and the Hobbits look at your waist confused, and suddenly you blush. Diaval has been sent as an emissary to the Great Khan of Rhûn. However, when the Khan and his court find out about his affair with his daughter, Diaval is captured and thrown into the dungeon of the palace. Princess Hala pleads for his life and the Khan decides to give him a choice: take part in the Great Race and win to be free. Lose and he will be cast into the Pit. Refuse and the Khan will throw him in the Pit anyway.
