Asahi takes notice that Nishinoya has been missing far longer then he should of been, and right before a match. He goes looking for him and he doesn't like what he finds. Noya gets injured, which finally gives Asahi an excuse to take care of him instead of the other way around. However, with Noya constantly leaning on him for support and touching him (always freaking touching him), Asahi is having a harder and harder time keeping his feelings for Noya in check. (In which Noya sprains his ankle, Asahi sucks at flirting, and Suga is probably not the best person to ask for romantic advice.)

He still wears his usual smile, but it is forced, and it is the only thing that covers his shattering heart. Without Asahi, he feels much weaker and more vulnerable against his own school. Asahi was usually the one to remind Noya that no one can mold who he is.
