A boy named Red starts his Pokémon adventure at age 16. Starting with Charmander he also friends a girl named Jasmine. Traveling to Pewter City, they defeat Baldwin the gym leader. Baldwin travels with them until they arrive in Cerulean City. Red and Jasmine join Team Rocket. While they discover that Red's mom has a Pokémon Daycare, Jasmine gets jealous and leaves Red. While on his own Red travels through Rock Tunnel and arrives in Lavender Town. After his battle against Gabriel, Red gets arrested. After beating Sable the Saffron City gym leader, she joins Red on his adventures. Traveling to Celadon City, the two tells Ebony, the Celadon City gym leader to join them. Finding out that the annual S.S. Anne Trip Around the World is about to leave they travel to Vermilion City. Now on the S.S. Anne they make their way through the Sevii Islands. (3)
