Lord Maddox feels old before his time--but not old enough to marry, for the last time he tried that, he was hooked by Lady Sarah Grenford, then thrown back when she married Toad Wellbridge. A life-long adventurer and famous balloonist, he sets out to drown his sorrows in a sea voyage, crossing the Atlantic to ply his trade anywhere but England. Emily Kilbrierry straddles two worlds as the daughter of an Anglo-Irish Lord and his Indian wife. Living a free-spirited, unconventional life as a world-renowned violinist is both a blessing and a curse. But when she finds herself in New York City, trying to advance her career on a whole new continent, she may also find an opportunity she neither expects nor wants. Lord Joseph Gildeforte, "Gills" to his family and friends, is waiting the last few months before he inherits a fortune, but in the meanwhile, calling in a debt is his only chance of eating well. Little does he know, his best intentions will leave him saddled with a termagant whose sharp tongue and propensity for gossip has recently shredded the reputation of one of his dearest friends. Lady Athol Soddenfeld has spent her entire adulthood under the thumb of her husband, a drunkard, a bully, and a man who won't take no for an answer. Abandoned by her family, when rescue finally finds her, she is too weary and broken to object to a knight in tarnished armor. But if she doesn't stand up for herself and land on her own two feet, her life might take her in a direction that leads only to ruin. Another Jude Knight / Mariana Gabrielle collaboration, this story starts a few months after Never Kiss a Toad ended, and will be posted the same way. After this week, we'll take it in turns to post an the newest episode every second Saturday. When it isn't our Saturday, we'll post the episode from the previous week so you can follow the whole story on one profile.

It started on Wattpad but now is EVERYWHERE with an upcoming film adaptation by Wattpad WEBTOON studios coming to Tubi. Stay tuned for film release updates! In the meantime, read the original story that inspired the film. KISSING IS THE EASY PART is being published and will be out on November 18, 2025 Please pre-order from the link in my profile. *** Being beautiful might as well be Flora Morgan's only talent. Some of the words she hates include economy class, second-hand clothes, and budget. She likes fashion, dating, not being on time and getting what she wants - until she meets Sean, who is like the clock striking midnight; he erases all her magic power. He is as mature and sophisticated as the dark roasted coffee he drinks, while she is like a lollipop: colorful, dazzling on the outside but empty calories and artificial sweeteners on the inside. The attraction is instant, but getting a kiss is only the first step. To keep their fire burning, they must accept each other's differences and decide if what they're building is strong enough to survive trials, jealousy, expectations, and the fear of becoming someone they no longer recognize.

But she dreams of a normal life; one in which her daughter can have a future that does not depend on beauty, sex, and the whims of a man. Finding herself with child, she hesitates to tell Aldridge. The devil-may-care face Hugh shows to the world hides a desperate sorrow; a sorrow he tries to drown with drink and riotous living. I am a HUGE fan of historical fiction but as this genre is not very popular (as compared to romance or teen fiction), not many people know about these hidden gems. These books might have less views or reads (and therefore people think that they might not be good) but trust me when I say this that these are some of the best handpicked and fun-filled historical books that you'll read here. Give them a try they definitely won't disappoint you. All the books mentioned here are my favorites so I won't be writing special things about them individually. These are all the best ones according to me and I know you'll enjoy them. :) After having spend so much time here and have read many books, I've decided to sort them according to how I view them. To read some best books and my favorites, you can visit my profile for my other reading lists :) Share the books if you too think that these deserve to be read. *I don't have any specific update schedule. *All the credits to their mentioned owners. I don't own any of these books

My love for historical romance gave me the reason to start and share my favorite stories and also a simple way of acknowledging the authors who really work hard and allow us to read their works. Any suggestions will be highly appreciated.

Despite living thirty miles from London, Anabelle Latimer knows her chances of finding a husband in their sleepy village are as thin as cook's white soup. Then she discovers a kindred spirit in Mr. Fielding, the intelligent and handsome new steward from Blackwood Hall. It was a great shame that his position in life was so below her own, for he was exactly the sort of man she would have wished to marry. Anthony Fielding, tired of being the target of the ton's marriage-minded mothers, hopes to spend a relaxing week shooting and fishing in the country. Yet upon his arrival at Blackwood Hall he discovers an estate in chaos, and a friend in desperate need of help. He is quick to offer his knowledge and expertise, unaware that his generosity will have unexpected repercussions. The Steward of Blackwell Hall is a traditional Regency romance of approximately 66,000 words.
