Based on the ending events of 4x09-- After a plan to try and get Norman Bates readmitted into Pineview has gone wrong, Alex has a strong urge to want to go and check on Norma through the night, going against the distance she wished to keep after she had said she was done. Okay so this idea came to me while I was watching a youtube video of Nestor Carbonell giving a tour of the Bates Motel set. He answered a lot of questions, some of which happened to be what happens on set while filming. He talked about a few of the times that the cast got injured, so some of this will be based off of real events. I am also adding some Vestor in there bc what is a story without Vestor?

While having to deal with killing Bob Paris, Alex also gets roped into helping Norma protect Norman. Starting to realise the extent of his investment in her happiness and her safety, will someone from his past help him decide to act on his feelings? Or will he continue convincing himself that she's nothing but a burden on him?
