What he found in that field, however. Wasn't what he expected. An arranged marriage. A secret kept all too well. A death that never happened. A forbidden love that never should have been. And blood magic to deep for any mortal to brake. But no one ever said they were mortal. And no one ever said love has limits.

They all went to school together. But none of them knew who each other was. Until that Saturday brought them together in the worst way possible.

The billboard across the street was old and broken, pieces missing from it, looking like it was about to crash to the ground with the next gust of wind. Regardless of all that, the message displayed proudly across it was still readable in the neon lights. Welcome to the city of angels. It was ironic, she thought.
