All it took was one wrong turn and Lacey had her whole life ripped out of her by the hands of the God of darkness himself. ** Extract: " The door squeaked open with blinding light shooting from it's gape. I was blinded for a few moments while my eyes tried to adjust to the light. Through my blurred vision, I could see a man walking through the doorway, like a shadow surrounded by light. Blinking my vision back to focus, I could see more into that silhouette. His features sharpened and body came into view. He was tall, but one could see that with his shadow alone. He dawned rugged shoulders with muscles evident under the flimsy while dress shirt. His arms were broad and noticeably strong, while his fingers kept balling into a fist. He was attractive. But not in the conventional, boy next door sort of way. Quite the opposite actually, with not a single strand of golden blond hair, nor did was he awarded the signature blue eyes and million dollar smile. His hair was a mess of dark curls, making his facial features stand out in the most flattering way possible, and his eyes: they were a storm. A concoction of blacks and greys that came together to shine darkness under the light of the moon. He knows his goals and he knows better than to get distracted by any girl. Both of them gets familiar with each other from the get go, forming a great friendship, and possibly more than that. But things get complicated for them and they need to decide if they want to be together or rather stay friends. Any similarities from other books is purely coincidental.

"I'm not sure I'm ready yet" I whispered lightly into Chris' ears. "We're never ready for anything. We force ourselves to" he murmured. Immediately after followed a sharp and deep pain that....

"A sex god, a mansion and a daughter who has a penis? My life couldn't get more complicated" I sighed. "It could. If you want the sex god to fuck you" He said leaning in to brush my lips I moaned "yes"

"I don't love you. I can't" I murmured into his ears as my heart broke. "I'm here for the sex only. I've taken my decision what's yours" he didn't answer me. Instead he shut me with a kiss.

Love and the comforts of a partner are the major drive in this novel. A young woman finds herself trapped within the claws of a charming man who has a more ecstatic plan for their future than she thought. Tangled in the relationship, she finds it hard to make a decision between the new found love of her life or a chance to seek such love somewhere else.
