Upon his arrival, he is captured, and finds himself being forced onto a team of young heroes. Needless to say he is not a happy camper. MAJOR TRIGGER WARNING!

Nico lost everything. First, he lost his sister, then he found his family, but they were taken from him as well. Hazel, Annabeth, almost all of the seven, even Will. The only people that are left are Rayna and Percy. but Reyna had duties as praetor, and Percy was out on his own trying to deal with his own mental sanity. One day, he's fighting off a large group of monsters and shadow travels to get away, unknowingly shadow travelling into the Watchtower. What will happen when Nico meets the Justice League?

After many failed attempts to find him, he is finally presumed dead. What they never discovered, is that his soul never entered the Underworld. AKA Nico is sent into the future and meets some unexpected pals.

Then, the Fates flash in. Go become superheros, they say. Go to Gotham City, they say. Go to the city with the worst crime rate in the county and cozy up with the local superheroes they say. Oh yeah, if it makes you happier, you can take your boyfriend. Like that's going to make this trip better.

When 10 year old Nico DiAngelo attempts to shadow travel for the first time he finds himself running into the biggest secret his father ever hid from him. Follow Nico as he learns about this little bird and comes to the realization that maybe their is still something worth living for.

Nico di Angelo gets adopted by Bruce Wayne after Batman witnesses him stalking around a cemetery in Gotham in the middle of the night. He doesn't want to move in with Bruce, but seeing as he can't supply any proof of his parents or even his own birth records, he doesn't have a good reason to say no. It's Bruce Wayne or the foster system so Nico decides to take his chances with the billionaire. What he didn't anticipate is that he isn't Bruce's only child, or that the man is more than meets the eye. Nico gets dragged into the Batfam and has to learn their secret while trying to hide the mythological world from the greatest family of detectives in the world. No Nico ships. It would get in the way of the plot. I will try to keep at least somewhat accurate with the rest of the books. Everything belongs to Rick Riordan or DCU. As the end draws near, hero's must rise to save the world once again. The only problem is finding the key to unlock a mystery that had laid hidden for years.

(I own the cover) What if Nico wandered out of the hotel by himself before he and Bianca were supposed to be taken out? What if he accidentally shadow traveled to Gotham City? What if he met the Joker there and was adopted by him? (Warnings: cursing, violence, gore, torture, death, and experimentation on human) Don't worry, Nico will be a happy boy in this! But he will be facing many hardships and pain.
