Magium - The most ancient of artifacts, believed to be the source of all magic. At long last, Barry had acquired the one thing he had looked for his entire life. In his hands was the key to achieve his lifelong dream - the grand prize for his victory in the great mage tournament of Varathia. His ticket to becoming a mage was finally here... But at what cost? Standing at death's door, Barry looked back at the fond memories he had made, his life inching closer and closer to its uninevitable end. Daren, Hadrik, Flower, Petal, Leila, Rose, Melindra,...and Kate, he thought he had lost it all, when suddenly, he finds himself back in time, to the very first day he had set his foot on the continent. This wasn't his imagination - not a lucid dream either. As he stood in shock, the unnerving silence was broken by the loud beeping coming from the tiny trinket in his pocket. With life granting him a second chance, how far will Barry go to redeem himself and save the world once more from its impending doom? ~~~~~~~~ This is a fanfiction surrounding the story of Magium, the popular CYOA style game, available on both Android and iOS, and in both ebook and paperback on Amazon. All credits to the OG Author, Chris. I will try to avoid spoilers from the later chapters, but please know that reading this piece in advance might ruin the fun of the original. I will, however, try to make this story enjoyable enough for those that haven't read the Magium before. New updates will be coming once a week as of now. An author needs to know what the people feel about his work, so please do leave your honest opinions in the comments. Keep in mind that the original work has not been finished, it is on Book 3 Chapter 11 as of me publishing my first chapter. As such, some new elements of my story might end up clashing with the original at some point of time. ~~~~~~ Special thanks to @tramed_, our editor-in-chief. This series wouldn't have been possible without his help.

"I LOVED IT" - Clumsy_weirdo_353 "So your sister likes to get drunk and beat up guys twice her size," Taylor said, her eyes closed. "Yup." A beat. "So you can teleport." "Yup." Another slice of silence. "So you really can fight," she said. "Yup." A single heartbeat. "So you can teleport." "Yup." "Cool. Cool, cool, cool." Taylor squinted at him, his outward calm mystifying. "You're taking this a lot better than I imagined," she said. He shrugged, but like a bomb, he exploded. "Holy- You can teleport!" Taylor nodded once with the inevitable. "Yeah, that was more like what I was expecting." Taylor's life has been thrown into tailspin. Since discovering she could teleport six months ago she's been trying to juggle being a high school student by day, and a vigilante by night with failing results. Unable to stay awake in classes from her late nights, her grades are dropping fast, and to top it off her exhaustion has she left friendless. When saving late night employees from a burning building puts Taylor in the path of a dangerous criminal, she ends up in an altercation that forces her to realize she needs help. Help comes from two unlikely people: Clint and Dominic who bring their own complications. As the problems keep building, Taylor is quickly learning that having an ability doesn't mean she knows how to protect the city, let alone herself. "It was amazing!!! And really realistic for a superhero book, you even found an explanation for why she has her powers. It also shows that even though she has powers she still is human" - gui_iris "OMG I LOVE THIS BOOK WITH ALL MY HEART" - _cooloreo_ "I laughed, I cried, I screamed out in frustration, but that's what makes this book so amazing, along with the amazing character growth and plot twists that still got me reeling to this day 😂" - Theaxbank "This is a delightful action packed read that'll keep you at the edge of your seat. Would recommend." Miathesmall

Ischel wakes up with a hole in her heart every morning, knowing she can't leave the house. Most days she wouldn't risk it, and on that summer trip she wished she hadn't. Ischel loses her mother during the trip, and all she spared was a waterproof notebook which is the only thing that connects her to her family, and a half complete word. Overcome with grief, Ischel was sure that someone had staged a well planned kidnap of her mother, and embarked on a journey of finding her. When a hiding stranger completes the word, Ischel is compelled to listen to him and under his guidance sets out to find her real home, Inframagus, hidden under the seas of the real world, her mother's past, and uncover the truth about herself. But when Ischel returns she isn't the only one who's back home. Will the people of her land accept her? Or would she have to prove to them that she belongs, by claiming the chaos into her own hands. (If you're looking for cliffhangers, brother-sister fights, tragedy, affection, friendship, love, action and of course magic, I'm glad to say it's all in here.) This book is completed. Sam is the most promising swordsman among this year’s crop of Paladin trainees...and knows it. Brash, cocky, and unbeatable with a sword (well, almost), Sam is the kingdom of Thule’s best hope against the violence wrought by demons. The only problem is that Sam is really Lady Samantha, daughter of the seventeenth Duke of Haywood, and if her father has his way, she’ll be marrying a Paladin, not becoming one. But Sam has never held much interest in playing damsel-in-distress, and so she rescues herself from a lifetime of boredom and matrimonial drudgery. Pity that Tristan Lyons, the Paladin assigned to train her, is none other than the hero of her childhood. He hasn’t recognized her as Lady Samantha--yet-- but if he does, he’ll take away her sword and send her packing. Sam is not the only trainee hiding secrets: Braeden is a half-demon with a dark past that might be unforgivable. Sam, Braeden and Tristan set out for the western coast, charged with rooting out an infestation of demons that has made the West unlivable. As they travel, they uncover a deep-seated corruption of power that threatens to derail everything they stand for. Rebellion stirs, led by a rival faction of warriors who tempt Sam to join them with an irresistible offer. A war between men is coming, and Sam must pick a side. Will saving the kingdom cost her life -- or just her heart? Reminiscent of Mulan, but with a medieval fantasy twist, Paladin is a tale of adventure, action, and romance.
