Ellany was raised in a shielded place; fed lies since before she could walk. When beasts that should have only existed in her nightmares rip her from everything she holds dear, her will to continue is shattered. Prince Envy thinks he has been, supposedly, 'blessed' by an animus dragon when he was just an egg. He has the ability to turn 'berserk', a form where he increases his size four times larger than the average dragon... some kind of super-soldier, with other powers that are not common in Pyrrhian dragons.. this HAS to be some kind of animus magic at work. But all goes wrong when he accidentally reveals his abilities, and his power-hungry family attempts to use Envy for their own bidding. Seeing the destruction of his family before him, once Envy escapes the claws of the NightWings, he tries to get the Gem of Tyranny before the seven tribes of Pyrrhia ultimately destroy him and each other for it. Glory knew her relationship with Deathbringer wasn't going to be easy. After all, he was simply too arrogant, good-looking, and smug to tolerate. Yet somehow, they weirdly ended up together. But she clearly did NOT expect for his mother, who was supposed to be dead according to Deathbringer, to come strolling into the rainforest wanting to take Deathbringer away. Now, their relationship is at stake. New family members and life changing situations are rushing into the rainforest like there's no tomorrow, and there is nothing Glorybringer can do about it.
